Nicaraguan Economic Situation Before And After Covid-19

The development of the Nicaraguan economy has been affected by the impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic. Through this study, a diagnosis of the state of the Nicaraguan economy was presented at the time of the arrival of COVID-19 and the estimates of damage that this pandemic has caused to the economy are discussed.

The Economic Policies implemented by the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity (GRUN) to mitigate the negative effects of COVID-19 on the Nicaraguan economy are the main topic addressed in this research. In it, the nature, aims, objectives, instruments, scope and results of said Economic Policies are valued.
